Heathen is your classic pearlcatcher, proud and egotistical. He dresses light and simple, while also keeping it elegant and fancy. He is a mentor of sorts to many in his clan, and is good friends with Archenar, Rashid, Celes, and Horrui.

He likes to spend time with Rashid, so much so that many speculate that there may be something more going on between them. Heathen denies it, but his awkward on-and-off relationship with Arcane coupled with how flustered he gets whenever his friend compliments him leads many to think otherwise.

Heathen loves the attention he gets, both the positive and the negative. Always being a fan of gossip, he loves it when dragons are talking, especially if it's about him. Even if not, he enjoys hearing all of the juicy news he can, be it about Tripp's strange new sales, flight dominance wars or new shops opening in the Grand Exchange.

Some would call Heathen self-obsessed, and that's because he is. He loves looking at his reflection in mirrors and pools of water just as much as he loves his pearl collection. He keeps his hide and jewelry polished and clean, and always carries his head high. Some dragons don't like that kind of ego, but others can't help but admire his self-confidence and look up to him for inspiration.

Many may see Heathen as a softie, but he's certainly no pushover. Surprising to many, he is actually one of the most skilled and talented magical fighters in the clan; it just takes angering him to get to see that side of him, and that is no easy task. Heathen is calm and collected, and is pretty much known for that.

In gatherings with strangers, Heathen is loud, chatty, and forward. He gets a lot of attention this way, despite it being what Rashid describes as "insincere". Heathen doesn't quite understand, as he isn't ever disrespectful; he just craves the attention from others.

Heathen loves pearls, and has collected many over the course of his life. Not just his own, but smaller ones pried out of mussels found in the Crystal Pools. His collection he keeps hidden away, and is fiercely protective of it.

I LOVE this guy. I think in comparison to some of my other dragons, he's criminally underrated. He's one of my oldest dragons, and is one of extremely few who contain what I'd call a "finished" bio. I've made very few alterations to the general contents of his bio over the years, just adjustments here and there now and again. His outfit also hasn't changed an ounce since like, when I got him. I knew right away what I wanted, put it together and was like "yeah this is him, I'm satisfied" and that's really it. He has some art from incredibly talented people and I'd love to collect more for him.

I named him when I was in my Twenty One Pilots phase (can you tell?)
