Biography

The night was cold and dark.
This deal could go horribly wrong. Why did she have the idea to go to one of the shadiest deals ever? The buyer wanted three, THREE Fae eyes. Personally, Star didn't know these Faes or what happened to them. She sent a friend who had more experience in this field of work to get the eyes. Star held up the jar filled with formaldehyde and the eyes. Supposedly the eyes had magical properties, but Star was skeptical. Then, the mysterious buyer showed up. Star pulled down the plague doctor mask she pushed to the side of her head to further investigate the jar.
But all hell broke loose.

A large, dark shape jumped between the buyer and the Skydancer. It was an Imperial, growling and waving a trident around. Star immediately dropped into a crouched position, stilling her body and hoping that her dark colors would help her blend in. It looked like the Imperial was handcuffing the buyer, not killing him as Star presumed at first. But the Imperial turned towards her. It pounced on top of Star, nearly crushing her. In a gruff voice it said, "You are under arrest for illegal vendoring of dragon body parts." and cuffed her. Poor Star was put into a cart and fell asleep.

The next morning, Star woke up in a cell, guarded by a Skydancer, in full armor and wielding a sword. Star noisily stood up, her shackles clanging around. "Hey, you. Yeah, you in black. Can I get out now?" she said. The Skydancer, who already was annoyed, said with his sharp, loud voice, "I have strict orders not to let you go until Nijah decides what to do with you". "Who's Nijah?" Star simply asked. The Skydancer didn't respond. "What if I told you I am a very honest merchant and I was set up?" she said. Again, he didn't respond. Star scooted very, very quietly to the guard, trying not to make the chains rattle. She came up behind him and touched the tip of his tail. He jumped, cursed, and drew his sword before Star knew what was happening. "Whoa there Jumpy, I didn't mean to scare ya' there," Star replied, both scared of his sword and happy to get a response out of him. "Are you always like this?" Star asked him in a squeaky voice. He didn't reply. Pfft, I'm supposed to be back home visiting my family, not stuck in a stupid cell. Maybe I'll get out early on good behavior, though I doubt it. That black Imperial popped up and walked over with the keys. "Now we have business to talk about, which relates to you. We are part of a traveling caravan and we currently have no merchants. We heard you are quite popular among travelers, so we thought you could help. To reduce your sentence, you have to help us sell our goods. Do we have a deal?" his voice was a bit worried. Star rolled her eyes, "If it'll get me out of here sooner, sure." Star stared at the Imperial and Skydancer. She could sense the tension in the room. Nijah's desperate for a merchant but this other Skydancer is not pleased with his decision. Wait, maybe I should ask why I'm here? Nijah had opened the door for Star, with the other Skydancer cautiously stepping to the side to make room. As Star sauntered through the door of the cage, she turned to face Nijah. "So exactly how was I discovered?" Star asked, leaning in close to Nijah.
