______ Bloodforge, the proud leader of the Sun Clan is known for his gentle, sad heart and great wisdom. He is the founder of the Peacefire Alliance, an alliance to keep peace between all kinds in this world. He works tirelessly, and takes plenty of time to listen to feedback from his clanmates. Sometimes, he suffers great anxiety and will disappear for long amounts of time, just to get away from his responsibilities for a short time. In his absence he trusts his son, Cataclysm, to take over and make sure everything runs smoothly, though he disapproves of the lack of delicacy his son has when it comes to sensitive social matters.

______ Bloodforge came to this lair as an adult, and he bonded quickly with the founders of the lair, Nightblazes, Hero and Sunember. To this day the four of them have remained close, though the other three have retired from leading.

L O R E

______ Bloodforge opened his golden eyes and glanced around at his surroundings, blinking and squinting in the bright sunlight. He was in the Sunbeam Ruins, the place of his hatching, but he didn’t recognize the area. As he rose to his feet and got his bearings, he looked closer at the landscape around him. The Sunbeam Ruins sprawled out around him, empty except for chunks of scattered marble, and the occasional partially intact wall or building. the remaining structures appeared much to small to be of dragon design, with tiny rooms and doorways that could barely fit Bloodforge’s head. After snooping around the buildings in search of food, he spread his blood-colored wings and took to the air, rising high enough to survey the land his old clan dumped him on. In the distance, he noticed the sun glinting off the wings of other dragons, he couldn’t make them out clearly, and he headed towards them, curious and hoping to meet a new clan.

______ As he approached, he could see that there were three male Imperials, one red, one midnight colored, and one with purple wings. Landing only a couple tail-lengths away, he called out to them. “Hello!” They whipped around at the sound of his voice. “Who are you?” The red asked, suspiciously. “We don’t want any trouble.” “I’m Bloodforge!” Bloodforge answered cheerfully. “and I’m not here for trouble. I got dumped here by my old clan and am looking for a new one.” He looked down at his front talons. “Are you guys taking new clan members?” The purple-winged Imperial bounded up to him. “We are, actually. I’m Nightblazes, he’s Sunember, and that’s Hero.” He pointed at the other red Imperial and then the midnight colored one. Bloodforge nodded at them, and looked past them at the large sinkhole in the ground. “Is that going to be the lair?” Nightblazes glanced back at the hole. “I hope so. Eventually I’d also like to build something on top of it, like a library or observatory. Something artful and fit for the Lightweaver herself. I’m not great at designing things though.” Bloodforge bobbed his head thoughtfully. “Well, maybe I can help with that. We’ll have to buy some basic materials… hmm, maybe we’ll be able to use some of this marble that’s strewn all of the place.” Hero butted into their conversation. “That’s what I was thinking. But for now, let’s dig out some more of this sinkhole and find more clanmates.
