She isn't a chef as such - she prefers to focus on concocting flavour-packed embellishments for food, like spice and herb mixes, sauces, sweet and savoury garnishes, fruit preserves, and chutneys. She also loves to brew teas and coffees of all sorts, and mix drinks with fermented fruit and herbs. Mulled wine is a personal favourite of hers. Her friends describe her as a perfectionist. She would say she has high standards. Either way, her nitpicking is guaranteed to irritate all but Giselle, the peaceful imperial who keeps the orchards that provide the fruit for Saros' culinary experiments.
