Nemo

Nemo's father had traveled a great distance from his plague home to the sea of a thousand currents to breed with a female of another clan with the blessing of the clan leader. The hope was to father beautiful hatchlings and bring new unrelated blood into the clan. In the morning hours of the morning the nest of two eggs began to hatch.. As the shells cracked open and the pieces fell away, his sister was first. beautiful as her father had hoped, inheriting his Opal gene. The Nemo arrived taking a gulp of fresh air as he broke free of his shell. the first thing that he saw as his eyes opened with the disappointment on his father's face. He had no opal genes, he'd taken after his mother with streaks on blue line markings that ran over his body in a circuit pattern. After bidding the female farewell he picked up his two children to fly them home. His father would hold his pearl in his hind claw and his sister in his forepaws. nemo was given the only option to hang onto his father's mane for dear life the entire journey home while it was fun it was also kind of scary. Once home the clan members gathered around to see the new hatchlings. His beautiful sister was adored but he was not so. "You know the rules" the clan leader frowned "He has to leave us". Nemo was now labeled a reject, the care to find a decent home for the hatchling wouldn't even be granted that much to him. Rejected and discarded he was on his own in this dangerous world.
