Hailed flight: Earth
Legacy: The Lightbringer's Youth Incarnate

When she was a hatchling, she was big for her age, and her feet were even bigger. She was clumsy, and she once fell hard on her shoulder. Out in the deserts of Dragonhome, however, there were no medics or healers to visit, so her adopted mom, Giera, did her best to mend the injury.

It wasn't enough. This dragon's right shoulder healed wrong from a bad break, and her arm is too twisted to bear her weight. It does not have the same range of motion as her left, and she must do what she can to compensate for it.

She enjoyed the peaceful expanses of Dragonhome while she traveled with her adopted mothers. They raised her on stories of her real mother, Damask, and her bravery and fairness when dealing with others. This dragon grew up idolizing the memory of her mother, though she is certain she will never be able to be a fighter as she was.

Instead, she has focused on the 'and fairness' part of Damask's memory, and she hopes to achieve a place among those who practice or create laws, or those who write about philosophies and teach others to be fair and just.

Ventures had proven to be exhausting for the little Bogsneak as her shoulder often kept her from traversing great distances at a time. With time, she had found herself within the Sunbeam Ruins hoping to find a codex of law that has since been worn with the tribulations of time. As the sun set in the horizon after a day of scrying, Marmoset tucked herself below the prolific monument of the Sundial Ruins, clutching her shoulder as the writing had begun to agitate it. Slowly, she was lulled to sleep by the sight of fireflies and lightly rustling leaves.

Marmoset dreamt vividly, wild images flashed through her mind as if trying to rapidly communicate something. Attempting to make sense of it, she was jarred awake into a realm to which that she had not fallen asleep it. Frightened, she wedged herself as far into the crack as she could hoping that by closing her eyes, she could somehow erase this frightening and seemingly dream-like place. Then a voice pierced through it all. Fear melted from the claws of the Bogsneak and her surroundings grew warm like a bath that was freshly drawn. Slowly opening her eyes, Marmoset met the gaze of a being to beautiful and ethereal that she could not be of this realm.

"Are you hurt, my love?" She asked, her voice sung like that of a harp.

Marmoset couldn't answer truthfully as she thought that speaking of her ailments may be of insult to this mysterious being. Rather she, looked down at her paws and fidgeted, hoping the question would erode away with the ticking seconds.

"A foolish question, I know. But if you could fix your shoulder, what would you give?" At this point, she had lowered her gaze to meet Marmoset's eyes. The dragon had eyes of glass, every color yet absent of any true substance. Marmoset's mind raced with questions as she couldn't begin to fathom such a question. So suddenly? How was she real? Is she even real? This must be a dream. No way this is real! So... Maybe I should honest?..

Tentatively, Marmoset met the direct gaze of the spectral being and answered, "I would give anything to be... normal."

For a second, you may say that the dragon's heart broke at the sincerity and sorrow of the answer. She knew of pain, unspeakable pain. But this was a spirit that was cracked and this would not be allowed of such a young and pure soul. Though she knew the implications that her actions may hold in the future, she could not allow young Marmoset to weep in pain any longer for all future nights to come.

"Then I will make it all better, you just have to promise me that you will never forget this blessing. And never forget what you are worth."

Before Marmoset could issue a query, her surroundings lit with a sudden burst of light, drowning all color, all figures, all of her. Then everything was black once more. Seconds. Minutes. Hours passed.... Then the break of dawn filtered down from the leaves and onto the tail of Marmoset, the slow warmth rising her from her sleep.
