Biography
The Wild
Monroe is as wild as his title entails. He is wild, cunning, intelligent, and cold to those who do not know him- or perhaps not so much cold as indifferent. Once you get to know him better (and not many bother, or are successful in their attempts), one discovers his shining sense of humour and incredible loyalty. Although he's surely capable of it with his level of intelligence, Monroe isn't manipulative, so if he's being friendly, then he's yours to keep.
Coming from a largely unremembered past, Monroe was abandoned early in his life and doesn't remember his family very much at all. He bounced around from clan to clan for quite a while,
often uncared for due to his lack of warmth and quiet nature. He quickly learned that although he was not as well-loved as the other hatchlings in the clans he encountered, he was smarter and stronger than them. At first he learned how to defend himself from bullies; then he learned how to go on the offense. He quickly learned people who were less strong and/or intelligent would pay him to do what they couldn't, and soon started making his way through life doing just that.
When he was older and had established himself as a formidable mercenary, he inherited the title of The Wild from its past occupant. He found the clan that they lived in accepted and even cared for him, and he developed friendships and became actually happy for the first time in his remembered life.
