MORELIA

Morelia and Viridis hail from the deepest part of the Shrieking Wilds, where they spent the entirety of their early lives honing their now razor sharp survival and battle skills. This extended period of time spent so far removed from a clan of their own led the pair to become living, breathing embodiments of the territory they once called home. Wild, fierce, mysterious, and beings of few words, they tend to be more serpent than dragon, with Morelia boasting a noticeable lisp that manifests as a soft hiss when she speaks. Other dragons may view these two as off-putting or even frightening, but once they swear loyalty to a cause or dragon you would be hard-pressed to find better companions.
They came across their current clan when those infamous twins Avril and Ebril wandered too far from their lair in the Gladeveins and found themselves facing down a hoarde of Serthis. The Wildclaw pair stepped in, made quick work of the would-be serpentine assailants, and led the twins back to safety. They were likely moved to action by the familiarity the twins' antics stirred within them, as Morelia and her brother got up to their fair share of trouble in their younger years. Upon their return to the clan, they were thanked and welcomed heartily by the ever-maternal Cricket, who never gave a second thought to the appearance or mannerisms of her babies' saviours. Others in the clan were more apprehensive, but trusted their matriarch enough to remain silent. After some convincing, the Wildclaw duo decided to relocate and join the new clan to serve as protectors, scouts, and guides through the deeper parts of the Wilds as the clan's territory expands. They are content in their new role, and are pleased that their years of effort and training can be put to use for more than just their own survival. |
