Alice

A former member of clan Amarayne, Alastrian, died, and due to sheer stubborness managed to reincarnate herself as a light dragon. Due to the unconventional reincarnation, a lot of Alastrian's personality and interests were lost and Alice was, for all intents and purposes, a wholly different dragon, despite being the same soul. Alice is a cheerful, outgoing dragon compared to her reserved and cold former life, and is eager to help with her Gift, the gift of Spellsmithing.

As a spellsmith, she is tasked with discovering her personal runic alphabet, each letter meant to house a different effect. When strung together, she can write spells that can create force fields that filter out certain things, seal away powers, emotions, memories, and even living beings, and create complex shields that very few could break. Of course, she has not quite reached this level, only being able to create minor wards and seals at the moment, but with training and concentration, there is very little she could not learn to do.

Alice, despite being mated to the imperial Grimm in her past life, has fallen in love with the cold, proud wildclaw Itzli. She remains Grimm's friend, but simply realized that the feelings her old life had for him didn't carry over. Itzli tolerates her, but other than that makes no acknowledgement of her nor claims her as anything but a regular bedfellow. Alice doesn't seem bothered by this, perhaps thinking he is hiding a better nature under his icy exterior like she did when she was Alastrian.

Her relationship with Alastrian's only living child, Eurydice, is odd. While she did burst into tears upon seeing her for the first time (Alastrian, while not one to weep, never got to see her daughter prior to her death), she has otherwise been friendly, making it clear she sees the imperial as a friend, not as a daughter. This suits Eurydice just fine, since she feels odd about this dragoness so close to her age being her "mother."
