Amethyne was born to a large, poor family. She had many siblings. And, just like the rest of them, she was planning on being sold. Nearly all of her brothers and senators were exalted to different deities, forced to work from a young age.

But Amethyne escaped. Only a few days old, she managed to sneak away. While escaping, she met Deimos, who was only two days older than her. They quickly bonded, vowing to get out and make something of themselves. Still, they were only hatchlings, and needed guidance.

It wasn't long before they met Snowblind, a resident of Starwings, who took them both back to her clan. She treated the poor, hungry hatchling to grand meals and treated her like royalty, giving her all manners of warm cloths and beautiful garments. Amethyne quickly fell in love with them, and with a little research, began learning to sew.

Now, she makes quilts and cloth garments for all of the clan, making quite a bit of coin. She lives, not rich, but comfortably with her mate, and her loving clan.
