Biography

Soothing tortie cat
The sovereign of her domain
Lounges in the sun

Royalty carries herself with dignity and poise, believing herself to be Empress of Everything. She is superior to everyone around her, and only allows them to inhabit the lair out of her great benevolence. There's also the small matter of others being in charge of providing the food and keeping things appropriately clean, so they do serve some purpose.

Royalty has exceptional eyesight, noticing any stray pinprick of light dancing across the floor or shadow passing by. She considers them viable targets for attack, because really, who knows what they could be up to? Sunbeams, on the other hand, were invented entirely for her personal enjoyment, and she takes great pleasure in stretching out in their warmth. If those are unavailable, she'll readily curl up in a soft nest of blankets instead.

When the smoky gray and cream being wants attention she makes it known by either getting right into someone's personal space and demanding it, or staying nearby and looking at someone, with the obvious expectation that the other creature will come to her. Exasperatingly, sometimes when someone does humor her and come over, she'll then decide to move off a few feet and simply assume the other will follow her.

For all her superior airs, Royalty really just craves care and affection. She goes about showing it in unconventional ways, but those close to her understand the meaning behind her actions regardless.

Even so, most others remain distinctly beneath her, with Vampire being a marked exception. He stands on equal footing, willing to challenge her and occasionally coming out the victor of their confrontations. Menace, however, is purely an annoyance, to the point that she'll sometimes chase him off if she's feeling ill-tempered.

(art ideas: 1. as a winged cat, curled up napping, maybe in an afghan 2. as a nocturne dragon, stretched out lounging in a sunbeam - commissioned, pending)
