Though seemingly slow and relaxed, Cyanide is actually smarter than he seems. Behind his lazy smile and dull blue eyes is the mind of the one who almost single-handedly started Gullveid's empire for her with his product. Driven by an escapist need to pacify his overactive mind on his own terms, Cyanide began formulating his own 'medicines' since he was young, and over the years, his art has only grown stronger.

His strength lies in his dark laboratory, expertly combining chemicals to churn out mind-altering substances that Gullveid prizes with greed in her eyes. When she first heard of his high quality product and the money it was fetching on the streets, she sought him out to take that profit for her own. As far as her underlings go, Cyanide is one of the most pampered due to his talents.

Often lonely and overworked because of Gullveid's quotas, Cyanide holes himself up and lets himself get inebriated on his own productions to avoid facing his anxieties and the harrowing fact that he has essentially become a slave. If asked, he'll say he's happy and has everything he needs, however it's often with a certain detachment that belies the fact that he'd rather not dwell on his situation.

Still, Cyanide tries his best to be jovial and nice, and he goes through the motions with a certain charm and cordiality that more often than not wins over those who take the time to get to know him.
