Hyperion: Darkest of Light Dragons

It has taken Hyperion many tries to get to this point. After having failed to create a cult once in the Sunbeam Ruins, he fled to the Southern Icefield with his only two loyal guards. From there, he gradually took over a small town called Porthrew, gained influence, and grew a large following. Then, he hired many Gaolers, with the intention of having them guard a vast dungeon full of monsters and curiosities, but in reality they were guarding his team of top researchers and scientists who were performing various experiments on the dungeon’s lower floors. One of these experiments lead to the discovery of interdimensional travel... and to a parallel version of Sornieth. Sensing an opportunity, Hyperion gathered his Gaolers and sent them on a mission to imprison Theinros’s deity of light. They succeeded, and Hyperion claimed the position for himself, beginning a world conquest. Currently, Hyperion’s empire spans ~60% of Theinros.

Galford
A knight loyal to Hyperion and has followed him for his whole life. As Hyperion is his charge, he will stop at nothing to protect him. Witnessed everything from the downfall of Hyperion’s cult in the Sunbeam Ruins to Hyperion’s ascension in Theinros.

Xanthos
Joined later than Galford. Has never had a charge, but has a lot of love and loyalty. For now he claims that Hyperion is his charge so that he isn’t judged by other guardians, but knows in his heart that he will likely never truly have one.

Mizar
A hatchling chosen by Hyperion on a special day. As a hatchling, he became attached to his mentors, Galford and Xanthos, and now keeps them as his charge. However, he still protects Hyperion with his life, because he doesn’t wish for his charges to lose their charge.

Officers

Sahir
A veteran fighter and original resident of Porthrew. Helped Alarys with construction of the town. His charge is his own strength, and he is very proud of it. Currently trains new recruits to Hyperion’s army, and is very happy to share his battle knowledge.

Sapphire
A nimble wildclaw who wields magic as strength. Is no better at casting contuse than a hatchling, but her eliminates are more deadly than most. Has a fighting style similar to the movement of water.
