Astero. Born to a pair of rogue dragons, he does not know much about where he comes from. He was orphaned shortly after hatching, when unfortunate circumstances caused his parents to die at the hands of a band of Talonok's. After that, he learned how to survive on his own. He would shock the water with short surges to catch food for himself, and he slept in dens made of moss; never staying at the same place for longer than two days.
That is, until he met her. Xanna quickly became the first dragon, well, the first thing other than food to catch his attention. This led to his discovery of his extraordinary power. He wanted to woo her. Astero was so smitten with her, he wanted, no, needed to impress her. So, he did the only thing he knew how to do: He caught her fish. Now, you may be thinking, fish? He woo'd her with FISH?
No. He woo'd her by catching the fish. He was always finding new ways to use his electricity to get the fish out of the water, starting with making pretty lines through the water; and progressing to sending his bolts through the water, around his prey, and shocking it so perfectly that it flew out of the water, and straight into the claws of his favorite dragon.
After a time, he did eventually woo her, and they became mates; under one condition. He had to settle down with her.
And he did.
