A special group of mercenaries under Saffa's command.
Quite literally a colorful bunch, they come from various backgrounds and are only tied together by their employer's whim.
Despite what appears to be Saffa's strange and trite humor in their selection, they are a balanced and carefully selected group of warriors, each with their own talents.

The primary reason for their presence in the Atelier is that of peacekeeping.
Since the Atelier was formed as a neutral zone to promote peace and cultural exchange between all flights, there will always be potential danger from those that seek to disturb this nexus for the sake of politics or ulterior gain.
The Atelier houses many of the brightest minds and skilled craftsmen from all the flights of Sornieth, and the location itself brings visitors and diplomats from all corners of the world.
If any harm were to befall these ambassadors of peace and prosperity, it could spell disaster for inter-flight relations and the existence of the Atelier itself.
Thus, Saffa's mercenaries were appointed here specifically to prevent such tragedies and protect this stepping stone towards a better world for all dragons- or at least, that's the idea behind it. Not all of the mercenaries are here for so noble a cause; sometimes, the glow of treasure is enough.

So far there have been only small incidents, and these occurred around the Atelier's initial inception.
The Atelier has since enjoyed a prolonged peace for the past few years, and the Mercenaries' responsibilities have mostly been reduced to escorting merchants and visitors passing through the area.
However, there has been a notable increase in Beastclan activity in the area, and this has brought the Mercenaries back on alert.

Aurinko is somewhat of the de-facto leader of the squad, as he receives orders directly from Saffa.
