• No one is quite sure why Marion is the way she is, being that skydancers are usually gentle creatures, but the popular theory seems to be that she's a bit shade touched.

• Always bound and restrained. If she breaks her bonds, the combat trainers need to catch her and restrain her again. Despite being incredibly small by comparison, she is shockingly capable of holding her own. What she lacks in raw power, she makes up for in speed, ferocity, and determination.

• She has injured numerous other clan members and some, such as Everyn and Marlowe, were unfortunate casualties during one of her more manic episodes. Aralyn forcibly seized her remaining children and sent them off to allied clans in an attempt to save them. One of Marion's grandchildren has made himself at home in the clan with her, but it's unlikely she realizes they're related. He, however, knows everything.

• It wasn't until Aralyn began to use Marion as a threat that other clan residents realized that she was only allowed to remain due to being an incredibly convenient boogeyman. Marion thinks that it suits her just fine.

• In a feeble attempt to win favor (and perhaps immunity) with the skydancer, some have offered her gifts in the form of food or bone. Unsurprisingly, she snatched up all the offerings and promised absolutely nothing in return.
