For how taciturn Valya is, very few know much about her inner life. As such her brash nature often comes off as a surprise for those who have not seen Valya take a hard stance before. While kind until provoked, Valya is far from naive, and is not afraid to stand up to herself or those she feels protective of. Oddly enough, though, she has yet to find anyone or anything specific to be her Charge.

Born and raised in a restless settlement that was rapidly growing to the point it was almost a city, Valya appreciates the calmness of the relatively secluded place Serclun calls its home, though she does miss her roots.
