Biography
lemonadesoda wrote:
Rakshasa was taken in by Kolmogorov when she was only a hatchling, and many regard this as having been a bad move. Rakshasa is wild and vicious, and many of the clan do not wish to associate with her. However, she's also extremely clever, and this trait has been exacerbated by the arrival of her mate Ludwig, who's even more manipulative and devious than she is. Rakshasa thinks that the clan is stagnating under Kolmogorov's leadership, and if she had her way, the clan would head on a path of conquest rather than peace and balance.
As much as Rakshasa would like to take control of the clan's operations, Kolmogorov proves to be her superior in terms of manipulating the moving parts. Rakshasa had hopes for an alliance in Rakir, Arokhar's and Corsicus' ruthless daughter, as well as Corvo and Shrike. Kolmogorov has been consistently and peacefully eliminating these threats by convincing them to leave the clan for some reason or other. Rakshasa, with the help of Ludwig, has learned that if she wants to make her own changes happen, she will have to be patient and learn to be even more subtle than Kolmogorov and his supporters (of which he has many). She's found some strong allies in Bragollach and Fimbulvetr, which gives her hope that she'll be able to take control of the clan at some point in the future.
Why She Left:
In her youth, she attempted rebellion against clan leadership, but her and her mate's actions lead to great tragedy far beyond what they intended. Her mate dedicated himself to serving the clan out of atonement, while Rakshasa decided to leave the clan and wander until she could find her own source of redemption.

Beyond Home:
Rakshasa wandered for a while, followed by Elentari and Synca, who she credits for guiding her to Clan Intai'sei. Rattle and Hvedra came upon them, and both were shocked to silence at this Mirror who, mark for mark, was almost identical to Hvedra. She was cautiously taken in, along with the Faes, and taken to Lena and Markl under heavy guard, where she was allowed to tell her story. Though all were cautious, with the reassurances of Rakshasa and her companions, she was allowed to stay, though under the watch of the Sainika. Though not a member, Rak has been allowed to train with them and, as long as she's accompanied, wander and interact with Clan members.
Though frustrated at the lack of leniency she's been given, Rak understands why it has to be that way, especially with her having been as honest as possible about why she was wandering Clanless. For the most part she's kept to herself, only visited by Synca and Elentari, but fields visits from Emilie and Skia. Skia in particular was eager to hear her stories, and Rakshasa got carried away telling them sometimes, forgetting to put a cautionary device at the ends every so often. Emilie simply sought company, being somewhat lonely and curious about the newcomer.
Due to her connection with Skia, and her improving relationship with the Clan, when the time came to send aid to Clan Euxenite, Skia chose Rakshasa, who was honored to have weighed so heavily in the Fae's mind and excited to put her claws to use again on the battlefield.
Beyond the Siege:
Due to her bravery and the way she helped Clan Euxenite selflessly, as well as delivered the news of Dazhgra's death to his mother and family personally, Lena and Markl saw fit to allow her greater freedom in the Clan. Synca and Elentari still keep an eye on her movements and meet with her every so often. Skia still stops by, though less due to the time he's spending with Jin and his mourning for Dazghra.
In the wake of the battle, Rakshasa has taken it upon herself to help Glitch better train the Sainika, as well as any other dragon who wishes to learn, in battle. She feels an ill wind blowing towards Clan Intai'sei due to their involvement with both the Siege on Euxenite and their last-minute rescue for Clan Grazellious...
