Biography
Valthyra
The Clan Mother "Where is that wretched mage?" Unforgiven growled before he opened his mouth to launch a massive charged, toxic blast into the cave that served as Daelor's den. Valthyra winced imagining how much damage such a blast would do to the tundra's belongings unless he had them shielded somehow. "I told you he's out gathering mushrooms with Kyram. Will you please calm down?" She pushed herself in front of the raging imperial to prevent him from scorching more of Daelor's den. As it was the acrid acidic sting of the smoke wafting out of the den made her blink. He scowled at her, ruby eyes blazing with fury. "He is not. Kyram is busy at her den with Mirtis. I just came from there." Valthyra sighed. "Well it was the last I heard this morning. Why are you so upset?" The huge imperial hissed and snapped at her, fangs bared only mere inches from her face. While she might rival him in size, even she realized she was no match for him in a true fight. His power and ruthlessness made him a deadly foe. He made another sound and his bonefiend dropped to the ground by his leg from its perch between his wings. She blinked at the creature who somehow seemed to be covered in strange clusters of bright pink feathers. "I am not amused with his tricks." Valthyra quickly bit her tongue to keep from laughing. A moment later when the fit passed, she tilted her head, "How are you so certain it was Daelor? He isn't the only mage we have in the clan." "He's the only one foolish enough to do something like this." He roared. "Besides that, only necromancy would affect Zar, and he is the only one who knows that art." Valthyra shook her head. "I am sorry but I don't know where he is, and honestly I think Zar looks better this way." Unforgiven snarled, "Find him, tell him he better fix it, or I'm going to kill him when I find him." He grabbed the bonefiend in one taloned forepaw and sprang into the air. She watched him go and then closed her eyes, focusing on the odd tundra. *what?* came the mental response to her thought. *You better fix Unforgiven's bonefiend or he's going to have you for dinner when he finds you* She felt the bubbling sensation that was the tundra's mental laughter. *Okay fine, will fix* *Why do you keep doing that, knowing how he feels about you? One of these days I won't be able to stall him. You need to be more careful* Again the bubbled laughter rippled through her mind. *Is fun. Will be careful* She sighed, shaking her head and breaking the mental contact. He was an enigma, Daelor was, but she cared deeply for him nonetheless. Protecting him from Unforgiven's wrath however was becoming an all too common occurrence and it worried her. She could only hope the tundra would leave the Imperial alone for a while before he ended up pushing him too far. Turning, she wandered back to the nesting ground to check on the latest nests full of the clan's next generation. As her crimson eyes swept over the clan's territory she couldn't help but feel proud. They had come along way from when it had just been her and Unforgiven scratching out an existence in the wastelands. Now the clan spanned a great chunk of territory near the Wyrmwound itself. Life here was still dangerous, but the clan was thriving. With a wry glance back the direction Unforgiven had flown, sometimes more dangerous than others, she thought. |
Random Facts:
She was Unforgiven's first mate, the random progen I got. And because of this she still holds the title of First Broodmother within the clan. While she rarely has eggs of her own now, she still keeps a watchful eye over any in the nesting grounds and the young hatchlings when they hatch.
She was originally sunshine/sky/violet but has been scatter scrolled to her current colors.
She has developed a deep fondness for her companion Daelor and does her best to keep him out of harms way, even if it means confronting Unforgiven.
