Biography
A child pulled from the primordial ooze surrounding the Tangled Wood. There's something unsettling, offputting about him. Unnatural, somehow. Even so, he's made his home in Chicanery Hollow now; fostered by his fellow Bogsneaks, Shiro and Allura. But the leaders of the clan are going to be keeping a very close eye on him as he grows...
A wise choice, it would seem. As the Bogsneak grows, so does his hunger; and it is not that of any ordinary dragon. He has a bizarre, hypnotic dance that he does to garner the attention of the clan's hatchlings, and when they believe they are safe, he strikes. The newest clutch was spared due to their unique genes spoiling their taste, but the clan leaders now know of his disturbing appetite for young dragon flesh.
Things have come to a head now that Pennywise has successfully eaten some of the Hollow's most recent hatchlings, the time has come for the clan council to do something about him. Rather than casting him out entirely, the clan leaders have reluctantly agreed to let Gaunt be responsible for Pennywise, and preventing him from eating any more children.
Over time, Pennywise's bond with Gaunt managed to distract him from his cannibalistic tendencies. Their relationship soon moved beyond mere companionship, and the two of them became a mated pair. The rest of the clan waits with baited breath to see if their offspring will inherit their father's hunger.
Pennywise's focus seems to have shifted beyond mere bloodlust, and instead settled on tending to his hatchlings. He and Gaunt have three young daughters, all three of them hauntingly beautiful, but their keen eyes seem to belong only to the Shadowbinder. Only time will tell.
As his children grow and come into their own, Pennywise's attention has been drawn by a new addition to the clan; the ethereal Bogsneak female named Gossamer. She seems equally intrigued by him, and Gaunt is open to the idea of Pennywise taking her as a second mate.
After a natural disaster ravaged the Hollow and killed many members of the clan, Pennywise and both of his mates have been ostracized among the rest of the clan, after a resurgence of his cannibalistic ways during the event. However, none of them seem to mind.
