The name is ironic. Sorceress the alchemist. Not the greatest of name choices for someone who studies alchemy but it works. It's great, I guess. For someone who practices magic. I'm Sorceress, by the way. And one day, I'm going to be the greatest alchemist in all of Sorienth, no matter what.

My mother was a strange, hoity-toity Pearlcatcher that was always busy with her magic shop. She sold magic amulets, spells, and read the futures of her customers. My father was a wizard for the clan, helping in battles and teaching new recruits how to use magic. When I hatched, they surprisingly spent time with me. But they had jobs and couldn't spend every minute with me, unlike the other parents in the clan. I spent most of my time with the clans' alchemist.

I can't really remember his name, but he was an older Guardian dragon. He had his laboratory spread out to accommodate his huge size. I remember helping him clean up broken bottles and spilled potions because he often knocked things over with his wings or tail. To be honest, I miss the old man. Well, back to work. I have a large batch of potions I have to brew for Nijah waiting and I don't want it exploding or something.
