The sky at night could not be described by Galaxia. It simply was too beautiful, too awe-inspiring, too tranquil. It was something you could just look at and that would be enough. Words didn't need to be spilled and crack the thin glass coating separating the peaceful silence and a conversation full of pointless words. It was a simple dynamic that she and her mate, Universe shared. Just be silent and see. It was magical. Her love was split equally between her precious mate and her precious stars. Galaxia was happy. Every night was magical and she shared each night with her two beloveds.

Just be silent and see.

It happened slowly. The crystal clear pinpoints in the dark sky started to blur. The colors, rich violet and magenta, began mixing. It wasn't the sky. It was her. Her eyes, her prized eyes, able to see into deep space, were staring to weaken. It was terrifying. She often cried in Universe's arms, in the day of because she still needed to see her second lover at night. Eventually it had gotten to the point where she couldn't make out constellations. There was only one thing to do. She could use her magic that she normally used to see into the heavens on her eyes. Maybe exchanging a bit of power for her eyesight could fix everything. There was oh so much that could go wrong. This would be her last night viewing the stars with blurry awe. Tomorrow, it would be back to normal. Galaxia and Universe sat in silent once again. This silence was full of anxiety.

Just be silent and see.

"Seeicus.... Galaxia..... Starrium..."

All Galaxia sees is black. No pinpricks of brilliant white light. No violet and magenta swirls. Her magic had backfired on her and her dear mate, Universe. She cannot see her eyes but she can feel the abnormality if she touches around them. They are disgusting and ugly. And she had submitted her love to this pain as well. Sometimes she can remember the patterns. Those beautiful patterns in the sky. Her other love. She would never see either of her loves ever again. That didn't mean that she couldn't feel their loving presence, however.

Just be silent and see.

"Well we can't really do much of that anymore, can we Universe? I'm so sorry..."
