"Oh, that's a good question! Even I sometimes wonder how I keep up wit' it all, hah!" She answers boisterously, a chiming laugh bubbling up as she works dough beneath her gloved claws. Lemon bread for the upcoming summer festival, she said. "I think most of it had to do wit' startin' early on, when the clan was young. An' luckily for me, I have Gratitude to help nowadays. Turtwig helps too when he comes 'round, the big lad, he's real sweet and helps move the bigger boxes in the storehouse. Strong muscles on that Guardian, I tell ye!"
She hoists the dough and slaps it down, sending up a puff of flour, and reaching over to grab a rolling pin to start flattening it out. "Hearthbrew is another deal altogether, he messes up the pantry more than he fixes it. I swears the darling couldn't sit still even if he tried... or listen to instructions I say!" She laughs again, shaking her head. "Ah, but, it's mostly me's keeping up with the organization. Farmers from the Orchards help too, but they've got their own stuff to tend to. I always have work to do, but that makes every day more lively, doesn't it?"
She lets you hang around for a while, offers you some freshly squeezed lemonade. Once the lemon bread is pulled from the oven and cooled, you're offered a piece of it with some whipped berry spread, and it is quite delicious! A perfect summery treat.
