He picked the habit of scratching metal from his cat familiar, whom he acquired in childhood.

You'd be amazed by the sounds he can make out of those things when he's passionate... Even with the potential of becoming dubstep composer in the future, he'd still much rather watch you want to pull out your teeth with those horrid metal scratching noises. Or, maybe he just enjoys annoying me.

By the way, all his rehearsals take place after midnight. He's a nocturnal creature, after all.
