Mercenary, the Clan's Bodyguard
Bahamut's place within the clan is a rather strange one. Rather than belonging to the Guild, among mercenaries whose only true loyalty is placed in the clan, and only take on other jobs as a means to earn coin, Bahamut has taken on a contract with the clan's leader. No one is sure exactly what said contract entails, and their trust in the leader is not so great as to spill-over to any mercenary he might have come across.
Nevertheless, over the years the gruff ridgeback has seen a gradual change in the other clanmembers, a slow acceptance and even the start of a few bonds of friendship. No longer is she the shady mercenary who might turn her claw to stab them at any tempting opportunity, but instead has become almost one of their own.



Bahamut is often called to action when some kind of threat looms on the clan's safety, such as a monster invasion or the rare beastclan raid. Her main tasks and overly protective disposition have earned her the title of Clan's Bodyguard.
However, defense is not always the best form of protection, and so sometimes her missions will include striking out into various locations across Sornieth with a party of other equally-skilled warriors to fight encroaching enemies. So far, the Forbidden Portal has been her main hunting grounds.
