Named for the frigid northern wind that heralded his early hatching, Boreas stumbled from the Foxfire Bramble to start his Search before most of his siblings had begun flying. He knew she was out there, and he knew she'd need him soon.
Svanja is his Charge, his best friend, and the bravest little spiral he's ever laid eyes on. Would he have followed Salvation without her insistence? Perhaps not, but if you have Svanja's loyalty, Boreas's is right behind - and so, as his Charge is Svanja's whole life, every breath of his own is dedicated to protecting her beloved clan.
