Biography
"One way to make the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure."
. Born to a royal family well known across the Earthshaker's domain, for there were never many wealthy dragons there who called the land their home, Dilong was raised to eventually become the family head, taught with strict intensity how to go about all of the daily routines he would one day have to follow. An endless stream of tutors was there to teach him the history of Sornieth, from its beginning to the present, the economics of the realm and how to surpass the legacies left by those before him. Years passed and Dilong had come of age, the ceremony for his inheritance already being planned. His cousins, siblings, aunts and uncles were all ceaselessly bothering him about what he'd wear, what he'd say, who he'd court when the time came. Dilong was overwhelmed. One could even go so far as to say he hated the attention, but a polite and curt exterior hid the truth of his emotions. It was the day before the ceremony that Dilong finally made the life-changing decision to leave his familiar yet misfitting home, packing a small back of only the most necessary things and bringing with him his trusted companion, an iridescent green Wavehopper who had long ago chosen to stay with him til the end. The journey to a better place was a long one, full of hardships and unexpected turns for the worst, but it was the most fun Dilong had the pleasure of having in a long while. For once he could sit quietly on his own, feel the breeze tickle his scales, and think without worrying about being interrupted and pulled aside for yet another unnecessary study period. It was riveting. Before long, Dilong had stumbled upon a small clan of dragons, inhabited only by a pair of Fae whose scales and webbed wings were far less dashing than his own. Dilong respected their humble little clan, even pondered joining it, but it took a few long weeks before he finally made the decision to assimilate. Now Dilong lives comfortably, free of the troubles he once faced in Dragonhome, flowing blissfully like the wind across the plateau and the dragons who call it home. |
CEREBELLUM
"You'd like to hear about my relationship with Cerebellum? It's not much to write home about, really. When I was young and looking for a place to call home, he and his mate Aurixela kindly took me in. Fae weren't often seen in Dragonhome, so embarrassingly I often find myself watching the pair go about their days. I don't think they've noticed yet, gladly. I worry what they'd think of me if they found out."

ATLANTIC
"Ah... Atlantic, now? I suppose we are rather close. She and I share a similar history, and not only that but we're of the same species, too. That may be why we enjoy one another's company so much. Often times we'll fly together, off to a new place and explore. ...What? No, no, I have no intention of courting her. Why would you ask such a personal question?" |
