Biography
Bio Notes:
-Shimmer is probably the only Guardian in existence who's never had the urge to Search and who does not have a Charge.
-She isn't the strongest member of the clan, but she is strong enough for patrols.
-Mischievous child who loves to set up pranks.
-Idolizes Elsa for her strength.
Relationship Notes:
-Shimmer despises Aethia. After what she did, Shimmer doesn't want to see Aethia ever again.
-She loves Nethior and constantly teases him about Aaron.
Charges composed the majority of a Guardian's life. There was an urge to find one, the desire to protect them, the hollowness when a Guardian failed, and the peace when a Guardian succeeds until their death. Usually, a charge is found after a Search. And to help instigate this search, a Guardian is born with the need to search.
Shimmer wasn't born with this need and she never understood why this was such a big deal. To her, it simply meant that she didn't need a Charge. It was a foreign thought among other Guardians, or so she was told. Considering how shocked other Guardians were when she told them she didn't want a Charge, she was inclined to believe it.
One day, while out on patrol, she decided to look through some wreckage that had washed on shore. There wasn't much to scavenge; most of what would've been usable was either destroyed or missing. But sometimes, on a few lucky days, there were some interesting leftovers that she could return to her lair with to decorate her living space or use in future pranks.
Never before had she come across a living creature among the rubble before.
Or at least, not a Light Sprite of all things.
When she realized what the tiny body was, she flew straight back to the clan and made a beeline for her brother's cave. Plopping the tiny creature into her brother's care, she told him where she had found it before excusing herself to report back to her parents.
It very quickly became the talk of the cavern. Light Sprites, of all the Elemental Sprites, were the most jealously guarded. So few had left the Lightweaver's side during the time were they could. Any remaining Light Sprites are kept with the Light Goddess herself. They had become so rare that to see a Light Sprite was considered a blessing itself.
It took a while, but eventually, the little Sprite awoke. Nethior had sent word to his parents and sister immediately, and all three appeared with their respective Familial Advisors.

-Some try to say that Seraph is her charge, as the Light Sprite is constantly hanging around Shimmer. But really, the two are just great friends.
-Seraph appreciates that Shimmer, unlike many other dragons, hasn't tried to keep him tied to the clan. She even accompanied him back to the Sunbeam Ruins with the intent to see him leave, before he realized how much he wanted to stay.
-Seraph is fiercely loyal to Shimmer and gives a verbal lashing to anyone who tries to undermine Shimmer in any way.
-So, in a weird way, Seraph isn't the charge: Shimmer is.
-They have a friendly dynamic. Seraph, still a Light Sprite, loves to have intellectual debates with anyone willing to debate. Shimmer tries to fill that role has often as she can, but it doesn't always work out. She's always on her friends side whenever he debates against another creature though.
