Tropical Reef Subspecies

Tropical Reef dragons are characterized more by differences than similarities: their interests and skills are as fluid as water and as diverse as vibrant reef ecologies. In some dragons, this can be conveyed as flightiness or dilettantism (they never seem to focus on a single career or hobby), or nosiness (they are always interested in what other dragons are up to); on other occasions, the varied interests of Tropical Reef dragons lead to their becoming prized for their wide-ranging knowledge (many may become lifelong scholars and teachers, amassing and sharing wisdom gained across branches of learning), or for their capable, dragons-of-all-work attitudes. If a clan needs an obscure skill set or bit of information, Tropical Reef Dragons should be the first resource. In personality, they are as flamboyant as the reefs granting them their name: brash or ebullient, laughing and eager to enter into the concerns and interests of those around them. They are the best dragons for parties and when one needs cheering up, but are seldom restful.
