Biography
Orwell should have been exiled, but here he is. His saving grace was his heritage; his father came from a respected family, while his mother was a talented scholar. Regardless, everyone who supports Lady distrusts him and scorns his writings, something that he does not care much about. What he does care about is his Clanmates' apparent obliviousness to how the Clan is run, and he is willing to risk exile or execution to prove his point.
Full Name: Orwell
Rank: Scholar
Personality: Orwell is pessimistic and nihilistic, and he frequently jokes about dark topics in his conversations. He tends to keep his distance from others, although he is close to a Death Seeker that he ominously calls Big Brother. As a pessimist, Orwell feels that his Clanmates are far too optimistic with their progress and success in the Scarred Wasteland, and he spends his time writing warnings to his Clanmates. Most of them are merely dismissed as bogus, but some seem too spine-chilling to be dismissed...
Orientation: Grey-Demisexual/Heteroromantic
Relationship Status: Single.
Kin: Monet (father), Wollstonecraft (mother), Felicity (sister, living in another Clan)
Familiar: Big Brother the Death Seeker. Big Brother has accompanied Orwell since he was just a tiny hatchling and constantly watches him from a distance. He is essentially the sibling Orwell never had, and Orwell prefers Big Brother's company over his sister's when she comes to visit. Big Brother is wary towards the other dragons in Orwell's Clan and pecks anyone that gets too close to his companion.
Reputation: Orwell is essentially seen as paranoid by his Clanmates, especially the more conservative ones. Lady and Nyra are very wary of him, as they believe that he could be a threat to their rule, and keep a close eye on him through the use of "agents." He also tends to stay away from his parents, since both of them are strong supporters of Lady and her rule, and believes that they would rat him out if given the chance.
Likes: Big Brother, insects, freedom, warm/neutral colors, writing (in his spare time) // Dislikes: extreme optimism, Felicity (to some degree), rules (especially if they are authoritarian), the Entourage, overly large dragons
Backstory: Orwell was born to two respected parents in the Clan, Monet and Wollstonecraft. He had a sister named Felicity, but she was sent to live in another Clan by Lady when she was relatively young. Although he had never gotten to know her well, Orwell resented her for leaving the Scarred Wasteland for a place he saw as more desolate than the infected regions that his Clan resided in. To alleviate his loneliness, Wollstonecraft gave him a Death Seeker, whom he soon called Big Brother due to the fact that he was like a sibling to him. When he was given his rank, Orwell took to writing and initially started his career by writing about the lives of his Clanmates. However, as he wrote, he became more disillusioned by his Clan's somewhat authoritarian style, and he felt as if he was not as free as his Clanmates had claimed. His writings soon took a foreboding turn, and that was when Lady started to grow concerned for him. She sent Nyra and an agent to search his nest for anything incriminating and was outraged when they came back with a scroll insulting her. However, as he came from a respected family, Lady was reluctant to exile him and instead placed him under the scrutiny of the Entourage, a status that he keeps to this day.
he liked tea... apparently enough to write an essay on it...

You know George Orwell, the writer of 1984 and Animal Farm? Well, he was mostly known as an essayist during his life, and apparently he wrote an essay on TEA. Yes, this is legit, and the title is called "A Nice Cup of Tea."
Here's the Wikipedia article on it because it's gold: A Nice Cup of Tea
Also here's the actual essay on Google if you're curious: George Orwell: A Nice Cup of Tea (i'm not sure if this is the full thing so feel free to tell me if it's not)
Trust me, the concept of an essay on tea just makes me laugh every single time I think about it... :"^))
