Based on my Magic: the Gathering OC. Thessally was forcibly abandoned as an egg by her mother in an effort to save her life from beasts. With luck, she was hatched and raised by dryads and swamp creatures. These murky lands are precious to her, though she is gruff and does not speak of it often. Her countenance is visible through her actions, and she is fiercely protective of her home -- growing up here has made her familiar with its ways, and turned her into a silent, deadly hunter if she so chooses.

Thessally is untrusting, unconcerned with the matters of others, and unfriendly. However, her alliance, once earned, is invaluable.
