In her lair, she gazes into the future to predict the fate of her Clan. Her predictions have never been false, and she forsees disaster. All anyone can do is wait. And pray.

Ever since she hatched, Oracle had a deep connection to the arcane energies that swirled around in the place of her birth. The magic was in her blood, in every fiber of her being. There is no doubt that due to this, she was blessed with the gift of precognition. Since she had been born with the gift, she had never known it was abnormal until after predicting the death of a former Clan-mate.

Initially, she had been accused of killing him herself. To prove her innocence and clear her name, Oracle underwent a series of tests to see if her claims of "knowing" were correct. When she passed each test, the Elders of her old Clan decided that she must hold the gift to see the future.

Sometime later, she left her old clan for reasons she won't discuss, but what one can be sure of is that none of them remain.

Her vision led her to the Scarred Wastelands, where she met Farin. Though her vision predicts many things, there was no way it would have predicted Farin and her rag-tag group of dragons and their familiars in the middle of the harshest environment known to their kind. There was something about them, those mish-mashed, miss-matched, misfit Clan of theirs that made her want to stay.

Not wanting to risk being accused of a crime again, Oracle disclosed her gift to Farin, who seemed surprised and pleased. Farin said she had seen and heard of weirder first hand, and was willing to believe in Oracle's gifts.

It wasn't long before her first vision for the Clan came to her. The arrival of a stranger, who would become important. She brought this to Farin, who thought it would be worth giving some thought.
