At the hatching of Ivette, twins were not anticipated. The egg was of average size. But, when the egg split open, out sprang Ivette first, shaking yolk from her fins. But, when she began to sleep in the nest as the other dragons smiled at new life, a second dragon poked their head out. It was her fraternal twin, Luck.
The two were not born into the clan they currently reside in. First, the adults raised them to be strong fae. They learned how to cure tree sap and convey fae emotions. They were excellent at it. They were not so good in magic, however. Their magic sources appeared to have been too weak, due to each one getting half when Ivette needed both. The two were shortly deemed useless in fighting.
Several months later, a massive wave of beastclans attacked. They slaughtered the clan. Only the two escaped because the beastclans deemed them too weak to survive and didn't bother. A single other survivor flew them to the sea of a thousand currents, and died in front of them. It traumatised them forever.

After their death, the two managed to dig a grave for him deep in the sand underwater. They covered him completely and hoped he went to the Tidelord. They then swam out into the water, hoping to find a water clan to help them.
They were not so lucky. They ran into a swarm of some of the largest jellyfish, and were quickly trapped. Armed with nothing, they attempted to push their way out. It failed the first time. And the second. And many more attempts after that. The two were afraid for their lives, and made one final push. They made it, but a jellyfish moved at the last second, its stingers brushing Luck's entire wing set. He screeched in pain and almost died. He would have, had Ivette not gone back in and dragged him out.
Ivette swam for a long time, carrying her younger, smaller brother. Eventually, they found a underwater clan. They demanded to be let in with their injured, and were promptly let in. Ivette was given a den room to stay in, later becoming her lair, and Luck was taken for emergency healing. His wings were permanentlydamaged, but they managed to save the whole of it. Now he cannot fly, but his tips that aren't melted glow in the dark. The two are practically identical. The two would risk life-and-limb for one another.
Both are kind and sweet creatures, but only speaks in monotone. They try to help out around the clan as a debt to saving Luck. As a downfall, Luck loathes to leave the water, as he cannot fly and get around.
