Although far from her homeland. Windborne has made sure to bring all of her windy potential and heritage with her. By etching patterns and wearing her silks, she finds comfort in knowing where she comes from. Every time a small breeze flows by among the heat of the lava, she smiles.
She was the very first Spiral of the Clan and was thus very nervous at the start. She was not used to such temperatures and found it a bit difficult to move around freely in such heat. She did find a use for it however, her Gustborne Balloon flies better than ever, even better than in her homeland.

Windborne uses most of her energy paying homage to the Windswept Plateau and the Windsinger. She does this so well that the Windsinger had bestowed her Sprite upon her. This was one of the happiest days of her life, one she would take with her forever.

Eventually, other Spirals became members of the Ancient Lair of the Great Furnace. This filled Windborne with joy as she was no longer the only Spiral. She strove to make them see the beauty of their homeland and succeeded on some occasions which was good enough for her. The other Spirals respected her for her spirit, they knew none could be as close to the Windsinger as she. But Windborne didn't do it for the praise, she was happy to have it but it wasn't her goal. She is just a humble dragon born of the wind and she couldn't be more proud of that.
