There are legends of a dragon named Morrighan. It is said that the mighty Guardian appears before fatal battles followed by her entourage of crows who circle above the battlefield. She never speaks and never acts, just watches the fight unfold before her. Once an opponent dies she leaves without a word her crows following in tow. Some wise dragons who have heard the legends of Morrighan know better than to fight while she is watching, because with her stare comes death and blood. Such a tactic does not save someone fated to die however. For who can determine when Morrighan is watching?

Some whisper that Morrighan knows who will die via premonitions that come to her, others say that her crows whisper in her ear the locations of such terrible deaths, and some even swear that Morrighan herself brings about the death with her presence. In the tall tales about Morrighan, it is said that challenging her to a fight is suicidal, as she never participates in a battle she cannot win.
