She was vigilant.
She was powerful.
She was unstoppable.

Until the Tidelord came for her.

The frozen winter sun was obscured by a thick cloud cover, virtually casting the world in a well-lit night. Storms raged from the north, whipping up violent winds and crashing bloodthirsty waves down upon the cliffs that they could never reach before.
Ever proud of her abilities, Valeria stuck to the sky, scouting out any dragons in danger. Unlike her, they were all humble and wise enough to have gone inside long ago.

While she was none the wiser, a vicious rain bomb exploded just above her as she veered over the ocean. The ice, wind, and rain was too much for the Skydancer. She quickly succumbed to the waves.

Other clan members remembered her with a tut and a strong opinion about her overt foolishness. She may have been forgotten, had it not been for Byron and Shraddha. Still mourning the recent passing of their parents, Valeria's siblings felt the greatest pain imaginable. The grief-stricken Skydancers built a beautiful shrine in her honor, adorning it with bright flowers to match her vivacious personality.

They say that she is gone, but never forgotten. The latter statement is nothing but the truth, but as for the former...
As long as you're in someone's memory, you're never really gone.
