Sladek

Sladek has always been an odd fellow. Born to one of the newer pairs of the clan, he didn't have any expectations placed on him or his four nest mates. Despite being born in a clutch of five, he always stood out, and not always in a good way. He always focused on the most eclectic subjects, like how did insects fly with thin wings? How did the moon get up in the sky? Why did olive snakes not taste like olives? He also almost always played alone, half the time it was by choice, the rest was because the rest of the hatchlings didn't want to play with him. But he never let that get to him, in fact he always kept being a cheerful dragon, a little too cheerful if his high pitched, slightly creepy laugh is to be taken at face value.

As his childhood came to an end he chose to dedicate himself to the thing he loved most, sweets. His sweet tooth meant that he loved to create and try all sort of sweets. He tried to sell the confections he made, but for some reason it never went well. It wasn't the flavour, the few times other dragons tried his sweets they were surprised by how good they tasted. What he never realised was that everyone was scared of him and thought that the sweets were poisoned or enchanted. Never realising that, Sladek came to the conclusion that his location was the problem, the clan of the Singing Bamboo wasn't what you would call a hub for business.

With a renewed determination the nocturne packed all of his belongings and prepared to fing a new clan that would offer better opportunities.
