B I O G R A P H Y
Moretsuna was born into a boorish family of assassins. Her hatchingday was barely noticed and the first thing that she could do when she was old enough was train. And so she trained. Her brothers, Shadow and Omni, often ignored her when she tried to show them her new fighting tactics and told her to work harder when she wasn’t. Her father, Secrr, was much the same. This treatment filled her with anger. At the age of 12, Moretsuna learned that her mother was dead. Even though her father and siblings had been lying to her, telling her that her mother had gone away to fight in a faraway war. She learned the grim news when she lied to her family, telling them that she was going out to hunt, but stayed home to spy. She overheard her brothers murmuring to each other about how much they despised her mother. They kept using the past tense when referring to her, and Omni said that their father was right to kill her, saying that she was much too weak. Moretsuna felt sadness for the first time in her life.

B I O G R A P H Y
Fifteen years later, Moretsuna was flying. She was flying away from her home, her family, and everything she had grown up with for the past 27 years. And yet, she was happy. Exhilarated, even. She was finally leaving it all behind. Her father, her brothers, her anger, everything. She could finally stretch her wings, feel the wind on her scales-it was more perfect than anything she could ever imagine. And then she was captured. Moretsuna had been taken captive. Imprisoned right after escaping from her prison. She was placed in a cramped cell and only given food and water every week or so. But her captors were rather shoddy-looking--maybe they could be tricked. She began to quietly form a plan. On her fifth week of imprisonment, when the guard came to give her her weekly meal, she snapped his neck and retrieved the cell keys from his corpse. She managed to escape, but one of the guards managed to give her a lengthy scar on her back leg.

B I O G R A P H Y
It turned out that a few of the dragons who had worked under the leader of her capture-whom had fled when he realized that most of his dragons had been killed-were impressed by her fighting skills and asked to work under Moretsuna. Moretsuna agreed to their requests, and so the founding of the Clan of Shadowy Wisps began. Although she had workers, Moretsuna felt like her Clan could be greater. Bigger. Stronger. So she ordered her soldiers to go out and find the most useful dragons that they could, and they obeyed. They returned with many dragons, some even parts of different Flights. If Moretsuna knew that they weren’t of the Shadow Flight, she would have killed them. However, her father had never taught her about the differences in eye color that dragons from different Flights had, so she never noticed. Today, the Clan of Shadowy Wisps continues to grow under Moretsuna’s rule.
