Born as Mut to a small Wildclaw clan, she witnessed almost her entire clan being massacred by a Serthis clan. Though she escaped, she was overcome with rage and grief and changed her name to Nemesis before spending over a decade tracking down and killing each Serthis who was involved in the battle. Her ruthlessness and violence drove away the surviving members of her clan, but gained her respect and prestige among other dragons. Eventually, she had avenged her clan and was aimless and lost until she was invited to join a hunting party. After over four decades with the party, she joined their clan and became the apprentice of the clan's leader, an elderly Pearlcatcher, and soon became the leader herself. Though she's quiet and intense, she's well respected and loved by the dragons in her clan.
