Too quiet for his mother, and too violent for his father, Brutus was left to his own devices.

It's hard to say if anyone noticed when he left. His birth was against Hellreek's few laws, and he was born in its pit, right underneath the Wyrmwound. Maybe, his mother would have trained him for the battle if she had known what he could do.

Wandering the Boneyard, Brutus came upon a dying dragon. It pleaded with him for mercy, to either save or kill it.

It turns out, after a disturbing set of actions on Brutus' part, he can make blood boil with just a glance. The poor dying dragon burned to death in a pool of his own blood.

It didn't matter much to Brutus that he could no longer lay eyes upon another's skin - there were masks and blindfolds for that anyways. He thought his power was amazing - especially when he rented out his talents as a hired interrogator. No dragon could match his skill.

Brutus dominates a room when he's in one. He is big, and the mask does nothing to rub away the unsettling air around him. Somehow, without him saying a word, those around him know that Brutus could kill them with a glance.

His presence is clearly foreboding, and Brutus does nothing to lessen the crushing dread he brings upon others. Even his easy smiles seem wrong somehow, and his blunt tongue is bad at cutting the tension. Most others give him a wide berth, and Brutus doesn't mind much that he doesn't have many friends. He is content, for now, having found his charge: this clan's leader.

The only virtue he has is his patience. A gift that he doesn't use quite right, Brutus can torture a dragon for hours upon hours without breaking his streak. It does sneak out in regular times as well. He can sit through a conversation he doesn't much care for, or a lesson he's already learned without complaining one bit, though his mind does tend to travel.

Above all, Brutus is a cold and uncaring dragon. The smile he puts on is just a ruse, and any sort of compassion false. He is a brutal force of nature who cares not for his victims, and only wants to make his fair share of treasure. Any dragon who crosses his path should be weary.
