Orestes

One day a fierce guardian female traveled through the wind territory and stayed in the clan for a short time. For some reason - unknown even to himself - he was interested in the young dragon. Her beautiful colors made Orestes smile and he felt warmth in his heart when they spent time together.

She was quick to judge and seemed uninterested in every little miracle Orestes cherished. She was often rude and her mood changed faster than the wind. Despite all her flaws, Orestes felt deep love towards the female, who was called Sihaya.

On a fateful day, they had a small quarrel. Probably he misunderstood a so called "pun" of the young lady again. He never thought she would leave the clan, but she announced she was leaving the next day. Orestes felt responsible. He felt regret and sorrow. He had to make sure Sihaya would never forget him. A silly piece of jewellery would not be enough, he took all his earnings and gifted Sihaya with a magical gene scroll. He hopes one day the female will return. Maybe as she grows older she will understand his actions more. Maybe she will miss him - even half as much as he misses her. That would make her return.

After a while Orestes realized how dull his life has become ever since Sihaya left. He started frequenting the places the female liked - but that only made him even more devastated. After a few weeks he didn't even want to leave his hous - which he relocated to the farthest end of the cave system.

One day Gaithrel visited him, cheer in his voice. He wanted to bring the guardian to the lake no matter what. He was bragging about something with water dragons and water and lakes and some repairs - it made no sense at all! Orestes finally gave in to him and followed him - to his surprise to meet Sihaya once again!

The female was waiting for him under the trees near the lake. She looked lost in thought, even a bit anxcious. Her eyes had a special shine when she finally looked at Orestes. Orestes was melting - or so he felt. His love was back and this time not just for a few days on her travels, but for as long as they wished to. He relocated their home - once again - to the greatest spot in the woods with sunlight and a beautiful view on the lake. He gathered all flowers he found and even bought a gene scroll for Sihaya to make her happy. Fortunately she was - only by discovering what she wanted all along - being by his side.
