Biography

"...I feel sorry for her, but she's being sacrificed for us, right?"
Growing surrounded by voices filled with disdain, dragons that looked at her as their savior yet something worthless, and no knowledge of her parents, Mangoie was randomly picked from the forest as the one to be taken to the Chaos dragon, in exchange for peace. She grew to be silent, hidden, and lost.

The day she ran.

Flames seemed to scorch her feathers as she ran, away from the dragons- away from the fate that was written for her. She could hear them screaming- full of anger, confusion, hate. She ran blindly- as long as she was far from the dragons, from the blood circle where she would be sacrificed.


"....Who are you?"
She paused, trying to catch her breath. She felt a presence, yet she was aware no dragon was near her. "...Hmm." She jolted up, surprised. The voice was in her head- clear, but soft. "Wait, are you finally away from those guys?" Mangoie turned her head, breathing heavily.
"Who are you, and what do you want?" She thought, frustrated. She lay on top of some scattered leaves, focusing on the voice. "Oh, me? Hmm... Just a dragon. Who are you?" The voice was much more cautious, sharp. ...I would prefer to not enclose my information." She replied. There was silence, making Mangoie wonder if the dragon was thinking about something else, if it really was a dragon talking- thinking- to her.




"Someone else..."

Mangoie yawned and rolled over.
