Back Story

Atarata was hatched later than normal in April. He lived the first month of his life in the Shifting Expanse as part of a clan whose leader was known for being very anti-magic. However, after finding a nymph in the Highland Scrub, Atarata developed an interest in magic. Struggling to keep it a secret, Atarata started studying magic and wanted to start practicing it. With dreams of becoming a sorcerer, he started planning on leaving the clan to find a new home where he could live out his dream. Before he could find a somewhere to go, his mother discovered his collection of magic themed books and devices. Being a devoted follower of her clan's leader, she exposed Atarata to the leader, promptly getting him exiled. After being kicked out, Atarata flew off to the Sea Of A Thousand Currents, where he found a small cave and continued to practice magic. After living there for weeks, Atarata had began hearing of an accepting clan in the Scarred Wasteland, which he grew an interest in living in. he soon decided to move to the clan, packed up his most valued possessions, and set off. Over many days, he completed the journey and arrived at the lair of the clan. The first dragon he met once he landed was a kind wildclaw named Elvis. He informed Atarata that he was the leader of this clan and would happily welcome him if he wanted to join them. As such, Atarata quickly felt welcomed and explained his situation. he was told that the practice of magic was very much welcomed. Atarata set up shop and met one of the medics, Ulna. Ulna was a gentle dragon who offered to work with Atarata. As magic can help make medicine and healing practices more effective, Ulna wanted Atarata's help in the medical field and also offered to provide herbs and tools that he could use in return. Atarata formed a working bond with Ulna, and soon after, met another dragon named Valencia. Her and Atarata became very close and eventually became mates. Ever since Atarata arrived at the clan, he has continued to develope his skills and lives a very happy life.

Personality

Atarata prefers to spend much of his time working on magic either alone or with Ulna. He also spends lots of down time with Valencia. He welcomes anyone into his home who shows any interest in him or magic. Despite often being in a good mood, he can get very moody and distant. On these days, he can actually get quite rude. Asi
