Observations & Notes: Subject #3130 was quick to show considerable preternatural ability, despite the fact that his runes remain uninvoked. Shortly after hatching, objects around him began to move — first small items, like a pair of glasses or a scroll, but soon escalated until even the furniture wouldn't stay still. His ability has made using our more delicate instruments of measurement a risky undertaking, but we can state definitively that he is telekinetic.

Unsurprisingly given his parentage, his powers are closely tied with the moon - or, to be more specific, moonlight. He is able to move small objects such as cups or utensils during the day, but his power gains the most potency when the moon's light shines upon him. Full moons have been challenging, as his power reaches its highest range at that time, but we have been able to use the relative peace of new moons to clean up any carnage.

His nature is mischievous and playful, which has resulted in a number of ingenious and imaginative pranks and stunts involving both staff and fellow Runecatchers. He seems to particularly enjoy manipulating his own pearl and will spend hours amusing himself by making it spin in lazy orbits around his head.

Lately he has expressed interest in invoking his runes, but given the instability of his parents, he has been cautioned against it. The limits of his power often frustrate him, but he need not look far for a warning that invocation can go terribly wrong. At this time he has yet to make his final decision.

Further observation is recommended, especially if he invokes his runes. We advise anyone entering his sphere of ability to be careful what items they bring, lest they be flung in the air or sent zipping out of reach.
