Ireen

Ireen and Neeri hatched in tandem, with perfect symmetry. Their eggs cracked in the exact same ways, and when they were to create their pearls? They took a piece of each others' eggshell to create them. They never stray from one another and move in a way that mirrors the other. You will nearly never find them away from each other.

Ireen can tell when a dragon is lying. Even with lies that are so intricately woven that no one else would be able to tell. It is wise beyond its young age, and its eyes are wide and haunted. Same as with its sibling. It speaks in a soft voice that has the illusion of being two voices. Neeri stands right behind it, listening to its sibling call out the lies and sins of another. Confirming that Ireen is certainly telling the truth of how that dragon is lying.

These siblings have no connection to their parents and never needed to be watched over in the nursery. Even as a day old hatchlings, they were independent, and could walk unaided. Always in the other sibling's shadow, tiny wings tucked close and small gazes sharp and far too intelligent for a hatchling. Because of this, the siblings are a bit feared and avoided.

If these two ever find a mate, they would share. A polyamorous relationship where all would be equal. They do everything together, and that fact would not change for a simple mate.

And now that mate has been found. Perhaps their mate is damaged, yes, but they love her so. Wrapping her in twin wings and whispering soothing words to comfort her hurting soul. Confirming the negative things she speaks of herself as blatant lies.
