MEANING OF NAME: The name Opaline is a Sanskrit name. In Sanskrit the meaning of the name Opaline is: “Jewel”.

Opaline’s Personality:



______ Opaline is used to getting a lot of attention, being the only female on the Safety Flyers and having the opal tertiary Gene really makes her stand out. She loves the attention, flaunting her opal like patches all over her body whenever she can in the right angle of light. But she is also very caring, even though she can crave the attention, she does not constantly think about herself nor does she think she deserves everyone's attention or affections.

Being a Nocturne, she is small and graceful, her slim form perfect for quick dives and crawling through small spaces where larger dragons seem to have a tough time fitting. She enjoys flying with the other Rescuers, learning all she can from Ilan on how to safe others and take care of the wounded for the unfortunate flyers. She is very brave, her scales as hard as diamonds, Opaline does not hesitate to fly through a fire, her large lungs holding enough oxygen so she does not choke from the smoke. Given her small size, she is the fastest flyer on the team, and is usually sent ahead in order to assess the situation.

Despite being a Safety Flyer, she really does enjoy hanging out with other dragons, she is loud and boisterous, again another way for her to draw attention to herself. She has a sweet and fun sense of humor, never judging anyone by their looks or their past, most dragons are trying to start a new life when joining the Clan. Although she can be sweet, she can also hold her own without needing the help of a Male or any other larger dragon.
