AMMENIUM
The Brute |
motherly | battle-born | cocky
Hatched in a nest with many brothers and sisters, Ammenium is used to being a leader. She noticed that being a clan leader was not for her soon enough; too many rules and responsibilities. She didn't like all those rules, but loved fighting, so her path was clear; she became a war leader. She loves creating traps for her enemies, and due to her colours they never notice her until it's too late. But sometimes it goes wrong; she goes into a rage while fighting and takes too many risks. Then her mate stops her and calms her down. Everyone is scared of her mate, but that's the reason he's able to stop her: his appearance makes her think. She has some bad sides, and some don't like her, but she's got many good sides too; She's loyal, strong, never gives up and is a fighter. [bio above by Celia204] Ammenium was, in fact, always a leader. The strongest of her nest, the bravest in the Clan, making the hard decisions easily. It was never a question for her; she knew where she belonged. However, when she went into training to become a leader, she didn't fit the mold well. There were too many rules and obligations to follow - she wanted to act on her own, to be free of the chains that bound all others to the ground. In search of what she desired, Ammenium went on a travel across Sornieth. She had originally had plans to start her own Clan, but no matter where she went, she only found herself getting in fights. She wound up in Light after a long time of fighting off Beastclan, hearing something about a long-fallen kingdom and going in the hopes that she could start her new home there. The castle, to her surprise, was fully intact when she found it. And so inside she went, hoping to find the root of what was keeping it in such good condition. Inside, she met Aerotoxin, a little spiral living in a castle too big for him alone. For all the odd, morbid adornments he'd strung around the palace, he was a kind and hospitable dragon, more than happy to let her stay; she found herself often humoured and even slightly flustered at his attempts to court and flirt with her, but for awhile, these did not work. Eventually, Ammenium got it into her head to ask him how the castle came to be this way. For awhile, Aerotoxin was hesitant to reply, but when he did eventually open his mouth, the words were not what she expected; and much less pretty. He told her about how he was reborn through dark magic of the Shade. He told her about the endless nights of torture and agony under experiments designed by the youngest of the kingdom himself. He told her of his rage and desire for revenge, and of the wonderful day he rose from the depths of the castle where he'd been held captive to wreak havoc upon the family, murdering many; including the eldest son himself. Finally, he told her of how he took to caretaking the kingdom, ruing the day he'd finally see them again and kill them, too. Ammenium found herself intrigued and entranced rather than horrified, and went to bed deep in thought. She extended her stay a week after that. Then a month, then several months. Aerotoxin seemed more than happy to have the company last, and hung around her often. Visitors who came always saw the two together, and Ammenium took a fondness to sparring with any hatchlings who came along. After quite a bit of time, Aerotoxin asked her to stay with him - as his mate, and as his queen. Ammenium, of course, couldn't say no.... ... On the condition that she got to train fighters, of course. |
