Biography
Latinized form of the Greek Αστραια (Astraia), derived from Greek αστηρ (aster) meaning "star". Astraea was a Greek goddess of justice and innocence. After wickedness took root in the world she left the earth and became the constellation Virgo.
Born in the depths of an Arcane clan, Astraea knew every star, every sun, every constellation. All was in it's place, but she grew tired. Tired of having to listen to her tutor's over and over, she left - with a dream to live within the Tangled Woods, where she could watch the stars without any Arcane dragon to bother her.
So that is how Groove found Astraea, a five day old hatchling nestled in the top of the tallest tree in the forest, mere meters from the clan's territory. Careful not to startle the small Snapper, Groove sent the seer Ophelia up the tree in order to coax her down. Once Astraea's feet touched the ground, Groove offered her a place in the clan, and a job as a cosmologist alongside Laerguleth.
Eagerly she accepted the role and home, and was gifted the name Astraea in return, as well as the cloak and tools that Laerguleth had spare.
After a few months of living within the Cluster, Astraea found that the Arcanist's powers surfaced quite strongly and physically within her, causing the constellations to have seemingly transferred to her skin and faded to the pink that the Arcanist was so well known for.
