Nearly unmatched in his magical powers, Flameus rivals Archonis magical abilities, but it is unclear who would emerge as victor in a battle for power between the two. In fact he is not often seen casting magic, but his sheer presence is often unbearable for dragons who are not adept yet enough with the arts of magic. He even seems on purpose to suppress his magical aura for some reason. But there are still whispers among other dragons that when he is threatened enough, he will unleash a force of nature towards his enemies. Rumors say his light magic is so powerful, he can bring down the sun.

He acts also as personal advisor of Takora in Clan or general matters.

After reaching adulthood, Flameus left his birthclan in the light territory to seek out his charge. Many years passed as he traveled to every territory of Sorienth and he had many friends and companions along the way, but he never found his charge.

As he had reached the Starwood Strands, he met Lovwyrm, another guardian dragoness who was seeking her charge. They both decided to join each other on their journey. Over the time Flameus slowly realized that Lovwrym was his charge and so he was happy to follow her wherever she went.

Finally both encountered Takora, and immediately Lovwyrm claimed her as her charge, without even thinking about it. She would protect her no matter what, and Flameus will do the same.
