Miu

Miu is the son of Ocean Eyes. After an elicit encounter with another wildclaw, Ocean Eyes found herself gravid. She had four eggs, but three were either born with such terrible deformities that they died shortly after hatching, or the eggs didn't hatch altogether. Miu was the only one that survived that first fateful day, although he too was deformed. His back legs were unable to support him and his wing muscles were ill-defined. Ocean Eyes took it upon herself to give her son the best life she could and taught herself to make braces so Miu could walk. He is unable to hold his wings up, so she made braces for those as well so Miu wouldn't trip over his own useless appendages.

As an adult, Miu is very shy but very kind. He still lives with Ocean Eyes as he is unable to hunt for himself. As with most dragons in this particular clan, he does not believe in survival of the fittest and rejects his natural ability to practice plague magic. He is quite familiar with the history of the clan and gives thanks every day that he was not born to a mother who still subscribes to the old way of thinking.

Miu eventually took on the burden of creating braces for himself later in life. Although he still lives with his mother, he also works as an engineer. He creates braces for not just himself, but complex braces and mechanisms for other dragons with defects, ranging from casts and slings to prosthetics and braces.
